Blowing Into Moulds

Controlling the blown shapes with different moulds techniques

There are different blowing methods in Lac which you can read about in the ‘Free Blowing’ technique, However while using moulds it is recommended to use a blowing pipe or the sugar blowing pump.

After heating up the material and gathering some on your blowing tool, you wold like to centre the material and ‘trap’ an air bubble to start the blowing process.

Then insert the the blowing tool into the mould and keep slowly pushing air.

Make sure that the material is equally heated beforehand to prevent creating holes in the shape.
